Means to happiness
💎 Productive Muslimah
🔶 *With faith a person becomes happy. With faith a person becomes at rest. With faith a person has coolness of the eyes. With faith a person’s heart expands. With faith a persons mind is at peace.*
💖 Surah Ar Ra’ad 28:
_(Those who believed (in the Oneness of Allâh – Islâmic Monotheism), and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allâh, Verily, in the remembrance of Allâh do hearts find rest)_
🔷 So happiness is linked to faith and the One Who linked it with faith is Rabb Al ‘Alameen, the Creator of all. Whoever is from the people of faith then he will have happiness in the duniya and akhira. And whoever separated from faith, then happiness is separated from him in the duniya and akhira. And whoevers faith weakens, then his happiness is reduced accordingly.
🔶 Happiness is something everyone is searching for. There are those who passed the ages of 30 to 40, there are those who passed the ages of 50 to 60, and there are those who passed the age of 70, and still they’re looking for this treasure which they haven’t found, subhan Allah.
🔷 How many people got married thinking their happiness will be found in marriage, and how many people took courses thinking their happiness will be in studies, and how many people worked thinking their happiness is in a career❓
🔶 Everyone wants a good life, a vast heart, a stable earning, righteous offspring, and barakah in their provision. But some of us pass forty and still we’re searching for happiness, and the strange thing is we’re searching for it but we’re not going to the Creator of happiness, subhan Allah. And the most ignorant of people is the one who wants to be happy, yet the Creator of happiness is not pleased with him, subhan Allah. May we submit to Allah (swt) and may He be pleased with us. Ameen.❣
🔷 And it’s clear to all of us that the happiest is not the one with the most wealth. There are some people who didn’t go past elementary school, they can barely read and write, yet their heart is vast. There are some people whose car is older than thirty years, their house is small, yet their heart is vast, vaster than the sea, subhan Allah. And there are those with the latest model car, his children are in schools where they learn different languages, his credit line in the bank is in the millions, yet his heart is tighter than a needle drop, subhan Allah.
🔶 It’s Allah’s justice to not give happiness to the one who’s against His obedience and His way. This means a person cannot be happy is he’s disobeying the Creator of the heavens and the earth.
🔷There are some who studied and learned and speak many languages, but there’s a ‘language’ they don’t know about. The happiest person on this earth is the one closest to the Rabb of the heavens and the earth.
💝 Surah An Nahl 97:
_(Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islâmic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do (i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter).)_
🔶 So the ticket to happiness is the one who believes in Allah (swt) and does good deeds, thus obeying Him, not obeying his duniya. But now happiness is being searched in materialistic things. What’s making up the person wake-up every morning❓ To go to work, to take the children to school, etc. We’re doing this but we have to know happiness is not found in the children, spouse, house, or job.
🔷There was someone who just got married, and he was asked to describe marriage after the first year, and he said it’s like ‘heaven on earth’. After he had the first child he was asked to describe marriage and he said ‘it’s bad, no doubt about that’, subhan Allah. Why did it change 360 degrees like that? Because he misled the path to happiness.
🔶 There’s a story of a lady who said she got divorced, though her face was beaming with happiness and smiling. Not because she’s no longer with her husband, but she said
🍃 ‘I love Allah (swt) and I’m happy’. She didn’t lock herself up and get depressed. People think the good life is a perfect life with no problems or trials, or it’s the life of travelling first class. If we had a perfect life then we wouldn’t turn to Allah (swt),
🔷 You will taste happiness and sweetness of faith even when you go through calamities because you are firm on the deen. When you are firm on the deen in good and bad times then this is happiness. When you’re attached to Allah (swt) then this is happiness. It’s not happiness when you lose your deen. May Allah (swt) protect us.
