Note 4 (Means to happiness)

Means to happiness
💎 Productive Muslimah
Note 4⃣
📝 The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
(Abu Yahya Suhaib bin Sinan (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,

_”How wonderful is the case of a believer; there is good for him in everything and this applies only to a believer. If prosperity attends him, he expresses gratitude to Allah and that is good for him; and if adversity befalls him, he endures it patiently and that is better for him”.)_

🌀Riyadh As Saliheen, Muslim, Book 1, Hadith 27
📝 Ibn Al Qayyim, may Allah have mercy on him said in his first book ‘الوابل الصيب’ regarding this hadith. Happiness of a Muslim is in three matters:

🔍 The believer is grateful in times of prosperity

🔍 Patient in times of difficulty

🔍 Seeks forgiveness when falling into sin
🌼For this reason a person should know that faith is a delight, happiness, and a hastened paradise for the believer in the duniya. Sheikh ibn Taymiyah may Allah have mercy on him said: _‘in this duniya is a paradise and the one who doesn’t enter it in this life will not enter it in the hereafter’._ The paradise he’s referring to the in the duniya is the paradise of faith and its delights and sweetness. The believer finds coolness of the eyes and a heart at rest as a result of his faith.
📝 The Prophet (ﷺ) says
 (جُعِلَتْ قُرَّةُ عَيْنِي فِي الصَّلَاةِ)
_(my comfort has been provided in prayer.)_

 🌀Sunan an-Nasa’i 3940 and in another hadith:
(يَا بِلاَلُ أَقِمِ الصَّلاَةَ أَرِحْنَا بِهَا)
(I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying:

_O Bilal, call iqamah for prayer: give us comfort by it.)_

🌀Sunan Abi Dawud 4985, Authenticated by Al Albani as Sahih
🌼 So the one who truly believed, acted on it and remained steadfast, then he will find happiness according to how much he believes. And when the faith weakens, then his share of happiness is reduced accordingly, subhan Allah. And if the faith is totally gone then happiness completely goes too, may Allah (swt) protect us.
