Means to happiness
🌀The foundation to happiness is:
🍃 (1) Belief in Allah (swt): to believe He is our Nurturer and Reformer, the Provider, disposing our affairs, giving and withholding, elevating and bringing down. To believe He is the One worthy of worship and no one else. And to believe all matters are in His Hands.
🍃 (2) Follow the Prophet (ﷺ)
🍃 (3) Good deeds that come as a result of the faith.
📝Surah An Nahl 97:
_(Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islâmic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do (i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter).)_
🌀The good life that doesn’t have troubles, pain, and worries is the life of faith and obedience. Faith and tawheed is the foundation to build happiness in the duniya and akhira.
🌀Everything goes away –wealth goes away, a person becomes overwhelmed with work, he falls sick, but what’s important is to submit and then he will find matters will be easy. This life is short and its pleasures are little and they will all come to an end. If a person leaves his deen, then he’ll find himself going backwards, he gets lost and will find difficulty in the duniya and akhira.
📝Surah Al Baqarah 133:
_(Or were you witnesses when death approached Ya’qûb (Jacob)? When he said unto his sons, “What will you worship after me?” They said, “We shall worship your Ilâh (God – Allâh), the Ilâh (God) of your fathers, Ibrâhim (Abraham), Ismâ’il (Ishmael), Ishâq (Isaac), One Ilâh (God), and to Him we submit (in Islâm).”)_
🌀This is what occupied the noble messengers, peace upon them all. And this shows the importance of raising our children upon tawheed and to plant it in their souls. *When we depart this life, the issue is not if our child has a job, or graduates, or has a position and wealth. How will the position and wealth benefit him if the faith is lost, if the greatest matter is gone*
📝 For this reason the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
(Abu Yahya Suhaib bin Sinan (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, _”How wonderful is the case of a believer; there is good for him in everything and this applies only to a believer. If prosperity attends him, he expresses gratitude to Allah and that is good for him; and if adversity befalls him, he endures it patiently and that is better for him”._)
